We understand and value the importance of parents and carers in our centre. Therefore we strongly encourage parents and carers to play an active role in day-to–day activities, embracing our open door policy. We also understand how hard it is to do this for working parents and carers. Our Storypark program accessed through your phone will allow you to keep informed and in touch with us while you are working or away due to life commitments. Our daily posts give insight into your child’s learning and give you the ability to make comments and share information of your own.
Our centre is purpose built and designed to take advantage of our extra large block with natural settings, large verandah, sensory garden and grass playground.
Our rural size outdoor play area allows your child the opportunity to explore and develop new skills within a safe and secure setting. Our thumb print or individual code entry also gives you the peace of mind your child is safe with us.
Outdoor play will be in accordance to the “sun-safe” policy. We aim to work with you to help your child develop physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally, while having fun all day.
All our meals breakfast, morning tea, hot lunch, afternoon tea and supper are cooked onsite by our highly qualified and dedicated cook. Best practice ensures your child receives 85% of their daily dietary requirements, so as a busy parent or carer you know your child’s dietary needs are being met each day at Juniors.
We also include dietary education and cooking experiences (JM) with your children. We support “green practices “ within our centre as well as support small businesses within our community as local suppliers. Our children utilise our organic vegetable garden to learn the importance of natural eating “from the farm”. Food for good health is a very important learning that will be part of your child’s experience with us.
Special dietary needs must be supported by a doctor’s letter as per our regulations states.
